DOG_WITH_TRAY.jpg - 8671 Bytes The 9th annual Lobster Pet Parade is coming to Ports O'Call Village in San Pedro on Saturday, September 15th at 12:00pm. It's all part of the weekend of fun at the annual Lobster Festival. Bring your favorite pet dressed up in a sea creature or seafood and have a chance to win Grand prize of $500.00 cash. Prizes will also be given in small (below 30 pounds) and medium/large categories. First place wins $50.00. Second place wins $25.00. Third place wins ribbon. All entries will receive two free day tickets to the Lobster Festival ($12.00 value).

The entry fee is $15.00 per pet before Sept 12th after the fee is $15.00. Proceeds will go to Peninsula Dog Parks, the community group that oversees the Knoll Hill Off Leash Dog Park in San Pedro. Only guide dogs are allowed inside the festival.

LOBSTER PET PARADE RULES

1. No Floats Allowed.
2. Dog(s) dressed as a Sea Creature or Seafood.
3. No costumes used in previous Lobster Pet Parade contests.
4. No store bought costumes. Handmade outfits are welcomed.
5. One entry pass given to you and one guest. Total of two (2). If you have additional guests with you, they must pay the entry fee at the main entrance to the Lobster Festival.
6. Only costumed dogs are allowed in the event and only for participation in the parade and judging.
